My Story
Shannen's dad introduced us to Scentsy. Years before, her parents had a 3 wick jar candle shatter and all 3 wicks, were in different places. Very scary situation. He fell in love instantly with the concept of Scentsy being a warmer and no flame. His excitement carried over to us. We started this incredible journey in October of 2010 with no dreams of making much of it.
Even though we loved our house smelling nice. Up until we were introduced to Scentsy we had stopped burning candles. Most them triggered our sons' asthma. 95% of the Scentsy scents didn't trigger him. We thought even if we got nothing else out of this business our house could smell great again without hurting our son.
We are parents of 2 children. Our daughter Mackenzie and our son AJ. They are great supporters of our business and help us any way they can. It is a family business! They help label and pack orders, come on any deliveries we have and help out at any events we have as well.
Over 7 years ago we chose to make a $119 investment in Scentsy not sure where it would take us. It has been an amazing ride of a lifetime! We have traveled the world for FREE to name a few, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, 7 day-Carribean cruise to such places as St. Martin, St. Lucia and Barbados. A couple years ago Shannen was even able to take both kids to Disneyworld to see what it was like to travel "Scentsy" style. Shannen and the kids were able to spend some after-hours time (Scentsy consultants only) at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Last year we achieved top 100 Worldwide and were able to go to Africa for 5 days! Africa had been on Shannen's dream board ever since she was 9! This year we will be going on a 7 day Mediterranean cruise which has been on Brian's wish list forever!
Scentsy is literally making our dreams come true! We have gotten way more out of Scentsy than what either of us thought possible. The travel, the friendships, the mentoring and the leadership have all been top-notch.
We don't sell Scentsy... we share it! Scentsy has afforded opportunities for us and our family that we wouldn't have otherwise. Shannen is FULLTIME with Scentsy, all while doing something that doesn't feel like work! Our love and passion for it shine through and why wouldn't we want others to experience the same as ourselves.
We have been blessed to have 100's of men and women join our team over the years. What we love most, even more than our own successes, is watching, guiding and celebrating with others when they achieve success. No matter how big or small! They are all big in our eyes!
